Getting enough air in ther balloons is tough, you have to pump very hard as some escapes from the wide bottoms. You WILL need a pump and the right sort of pump, luckily one was included. I work in the party industry so am familiar with inflating awkward balloons and these are awkward - put them on a newspaper on a radiator (not too hot) for a few minutes to soften the rubber a bit.
